Pollution

Pollution means making our surrounding impure by the addition of harmful and poisonous particles. It is the process of making our environment not fit for the living being. There are many types of pollution like soil pollution, water pollution, air pollution, sound pollution etc




Air Pollution

Air pollution is a very dangerous form of pollution. Air pollution is due to the addition of hazardous gases like sulfur dioxide, carbon mono oxide, carbon dioxide, etc which are emitted by our industries vehicles, engines etc. carbon dioxide is one of the greenhouse gas, which is not much hazardous but its excessive amount can lead to various disturbance in the natural cycle. Increase in the volume of greenhouse gases can cause the greenhouse effect and it can increase the temperature of the earth.





Soil Pollution

It is due to excessive use of inorganic fertilizers and pesticides, which not only making our soil infertile but also making us unhealthy. some small microbes found in the soil make nitrogenous compound by the help of atmospheric nitrogen which makes the soil nitrogen rich. Pesticides kill the microbes and small insects which play important roles in making the soil fertile.





Water Pollution

There are very limited sources of drinking water;  rivers, pound lakes, underground water are the basic sources through which we get drinking water. But these sources are polluted by various pollutants like plastics and various chemicals emitted from industries. The garbage and sewage in the water bodies making it unfit for several aquatic animals and fish to live in it. Also, these pollutants get dissolve in the water and get mixed with the underground water. There are very limited sources of drinking water, rivers are the most essential source of drinking water. Rivers and the ocean have a lot of aquatic life which are now in danger. 


Every form of pollution is harmful to all the living being of nature. As a result of this, we are seeing a lot of natural disasters these days. Many organizations and governments are looking forward to countering this major issue. In recent years few steps are taken to make our earth neat and clean, but still many steps should be taken in order to make our earth the most beautiful planet of this solar system.
